Wipneus het ‘n comment gekry dat sy net soos Dorothy van The Wizard of Oz lyk, nou gaan ek eers bietjie brag oor die regte ene. Jessica is my niggie wat in Amerika bly en hier is so ietsie oor haar!

(Wippie, eat your heart out girl!)

Hier is n paar foto’s saam met van die akteurs

Jessica Grové has starred on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie as Miss Dorothy, Les Misérables as Eponine, and originated the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at New York City’s Madison Square Garden as well as on the National Tour, performing alongside legends Mickey Rooney and Eartha Kitt, as well as Roseanne, Lillian Montevecchi, and Jo Anne Worley. Jessica received a Jefferson Award nomination for her portrayal, and can be heard on the 1998 Grammy nominated cast recording. Currently she is appearing in Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George at Studio 54.

“Jessica Grové, 17, plays the role of Dorothy, and she couldnt have been more perfect for the part. Born in Royal Oak, the stage actress originated the role of Dorothy at Madison Square Gardens in New York City, and is reprising the role in this Detroit production.

Coupled with her twin braids and superb voice, she lights up the stage with charm, bringing to life a childhood story of innocence, dreams and self-discovery.” – Jeannee Kirkaldy
